Summary –
Chyka Keebaugh, half of the dynamic duo behind The Big Group, has become a much loved public figure who has a natural flair for making life beautiful. In this episode, Andrew sits with Chyka and discovers her journey from hospitality, to reality TV show, to editor-in-chief of Chyka.com. From the inspiration of her grandmother and an impactful encounter with event and hospitality workers in her own home as a child, Chyka’s bursting love for all things events and parties became her life’s work as she opened up The Big Group with her husband Bruce. Andrew discusses the impact that COVID had on their business, and the way that they were able to not only sustain the business, but also bounce back post-COVID era. Chyka never shied-away from the TV screens and shares in detail with Andrew her experience on the reality TV show The Real Housewives of Melbourne which she remained on for 3 seasons. With an unending passion for philanthropy and helping others, Chyka unveils the story of her father’s sister where her desire to help others was born.
