Daniel Flynn, co-founder and director of Thankyou, one of Australia’s most successful philanthropic ventures, sits with Andrew Purdie to share his journey in philanthropy and the story of Thankyou. Daniel, along with his wife Justine and their friend Jarrod, were resilient and determined in bringing to life the idea that world poverty can be ended. Through sharing on their decision on selling bottled water to end poverty, Daniel sheds light on the hardships and difficulties on not only the years it took for their social enterprise to take off, but also on the many triumphs that were achieved along the way. Thankyou’s walk against the status quo won not only the hearts of Aussie’s, but created global recognition and support, with Daniel eventually being interviewed by Barack Obama on the impact that Thankyou had been making worldwide. With a new chapter in the making, Daniel unveils the past few years of works that were happening behind the scenes in Thankyou’s headquarters with the launch of world first’s in natural, sustainable, and poverty-ending products that hit shelves in June & July of 2023.
