Summary –
Jeremy Meltzer has taken on the unusual and incredible task of integrating philanthropy and technology with the founding of i=Change – a not-for-profit organisation that makes it simple & powerful for retailers to give back. It’s the world’s first ‘cause marketing’ platform and Australia’s fastest growing social enterprise tech startup, with Jeremy winning the Best Charity Initiative Finalist in 2021 and the Innovator of the Year in 2019. Jeremy shares his life journey from young international traveller who witnessed poverty and disadvantage in the countries he travelled to, to understanding the incredible need for the protection and empowerment of females locally and globally. As soon as Jeremy had established his entrepreneurial roots through the selling of Australian olive oil in the USA, he ventured into the NGO sector, eventually leading him to starting i=Change which has now raised almost $8 million and counting. Jeremy gives listeners an opportunity to reflect on how their purchasing habits can make a positive difference, and how to get involved in i=Change.
