An internationally recognised haematologist, Professor Miles Prince, sits with host Andrew Purdie and simple life growing up and moving into medicine with great passion. Andrew delves into this passion of Professor Miles with listeners being given great insight into why Professor Miles chose to work specifically with blood cancer and how he works closely alongside patients from the beginning of their cancer journey, right through until after they have finished their treatments. Sacrifice comes in many forms for Professor Miles, with one of them being the balance between family and work – for both these areas he is relentless in his commitment.
