Andrew Purdie’s television debut in early 2021 saw him join the team of the inaugural series of ‘Australia’s Best House’. Hosted by Megan Gale, the series is a celebration of how we live in Australia. From display homes and multi-residential projects to brand new builds and breathtaking renovations, ‘Australia’s Best House’ takes us inside a stunning array and wide cross-section of residential projects across the country.

At the climax of each episode, one project is chosen as the winner. The final show features all the winners from every episode, with the series culminating in one home being crowned with the title of Australia’s best house.

As one of three industry professionals who were the judges determining the winning properties, Andrew’s expertise was integral to the success of the show. Andrew’s appealing persona, amiable presence, professional approach and instinctive knowledge of the building industry helped make ‘Australia’s Best House’ a hit with both the Producers and the public. His warm, genuine and authentic appraisals of a broad range of properties combined with a sense of fun and humour made him a favourite with the show’s audience. Season Two aired in 2022, and filming of Season Three is now underway, with the series due to air on 9Life in late 2023.
